Welcome - Welkom - Wamkelekile !

We carry a wide range of Catholic and other Christian books from local and overseas publishers, as well as church supplies such as incense, hosts, non-alcoholic wine and repository goods. The Bookshop will be closed for the SA public holidays on Monday 28th April 2025 and Thursday 1st May 2025. We are situated next to the Archdiocesan Chancery at No 14 Bouquet Street Cape Town, behind the Catholic Cathedral.

From Sunday 20th April for the next fifty days the Church celebrates the season of Easter, remembering that after three days Jesus rose from the tomb and appeared to his disciples. During this season the colours worn by the priest and displayed in churches will be white or gold. The season ends with the feast of Pentecost on the 8th June 2025. In this season we remember especially Pope Francis who died on Easter Monday 21st April. May his soul rest in peace.
